Welcome to Virtual Thermal Printer (referred to as "the Application", "we", "us", or "our"). We prioritize your privacy and are committed to protecting the information of our users.

🔒 Key Guarantee: Virtual Thermal Printer operates locally on your device as a wireless/Bluetooth printer server. We DO NOT collect, harvest, store, or transmit your print data, receipt content, or personal files to external servers.

1. Information We Collect and Process

A. Local Print Data (On-Device Storage Only)

The Application emulates a physical thermal printer over TCP Port 9100, Bluetooth Classic (SPP), and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). All incoming print jobs (ESC/POS, TSPL, ZPL commands) are parsed and rendered directly on your local device. Print job history and configuration preferences are stored strictly in local application storage (Android Room Database & DataStore) and are never uploaded to any remote servers.

B. Third-Party Monetization Services

To provide free access and enable in-app purchases, the Application integrates third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device:

Google AdMob: Used to display non-intrusive full-page (interstitial) advertisements in the free version. AdMob may collect device identifiers (advertising ID), IP address, and interaction metrics to serve and personalize ads. View Google Privacy Policy and AdMob Policies.
Google Play Billing: Used to process in-app subscription purchases ("Offer a Coffee ☕" / Ad-Free plans). Purchase transactions are handled directly and securely by Google Play Store. View Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Device Permissions Requested

To function as a virtual thermal printer, the Application requests the following system permissions:

Network Access (Internet & Local WiFi): Required to open a local TCP listening server on port 9100 for incoming network print jobs.
Bluetooth & Bluetooth Scan/Connect: Required to advertise and accept Bluetooth SPP and BLE printer connections from external POS terminals and mobile devices.
Location Access (Android 11 and lower): Required by Android system architecture for Bluetooth device discovery. Location data is processed strictly by the Android system and is never accessed or stored by our Application.

3. In-App Subscriptions & Ad Suppression

Users may choose to subscribe to an optional Ad-Free Plan (Yearly or Monthly) via Google Play Billing. Upon active subscription verification, all AdMob advertisement requests are completely disabled within the Application.

4. Children's Privacy

Our Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
